Branding and standardization are the two major ways to improve the quality of agricultural products, to enhance the force and completion of the corporation, and thus expand and strengthen the enterprise. At present, the corporation possesses 5 advanced green food material producing bases which are all well selected and constructed. Control over the air quality, irrigation water quality, and soil environment is conducted strictly according to the national standards. All the bases are founded in remote areas or mountains which are far from downtown areas and industrial areas and thus pollution caused by the city and industry are avoided effectively. Ecological environment in the producing bases is favorable and thus the base has a sustainable throughput; Bases for producing strawberries, apples, hawthorns, peaches and viscid mushrooms occupies an area of 330 mou, 420 mou, 2,200 mou, 1,100 mou and 7000 m2 respectively, which provides the corporation with 350 tons of strawberries, 870 tons of apples, 1,560 tons of hawthorns, 2150 tons of yellow and white peaches and 51 tons of viscid mushrooms annually.
In order to guarantee that all farmers in the producing base conduct the production strictly in accordance with standards for producing green food, a scientific organization has been set up to supervise the green food producing base. In this way, the corporation can make sure that the fruit and vegetables are far from pollution and can meet the requirement of green food in its real sense.
The founding of green food producing base in remote mountainous areas and the quality control beginning from the base are helpful in make sure that the products of the corporation are really green and healthy.
